Redmi X with Triple Rear Cameras & Pop-up Selfie Camera Spotted in Leaked Photo
Earlier this week, Xiaomi’s Redmi posted a teaser video on Weibo confirm the design of its first ever flagship smartphone. It will be coming with a true bezel-less display and sports pop-up selfie camera. Now a newly leaked photo on Weibo featured the Redmi X smartphone. It reveals the complete first look of the device. Even Realme will reportedly make its debut in China with a flagship smartphone called Realme X. While the pop-up camera is center aligned on the Realme X, it is slightly placed to the left side on Redmi X.
From the above-featured image, we can see the device in Grey color. It comes glossy finish 3D curved body and sports triple rear camera setup on the top left corner. The back of the device looks very much similar to the Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE smartphones. Even the fingerprint scanner is missing on the rear. We expect the Redmi X to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The company already confirmed the Redmi X to support NFC for using the Mi Pay.
It will also sport 3.5mm audio jack for connecting standard headsets. Under the hood, the device will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform built on 7nm FinFET node. It comes coupled with Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU. Even the Realme X is rumored to sport the same Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Redmi X will be running on the latest MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie. The company said the device sport bigger battery and better cameras.
While the power button is placed on the right edge, the volume rocker can be seen on the left edge. Based on the rumors, the Redmi X will sport 48MP wide-angle camera with f/1.75 aperture, an 8MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.4 on the rear. The Mi 9 SE priced at CNY 1999 (approx USD 300 / INR 20,000) also came with the same triple camera setup. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details about the upcoming flagship Redmi smartphone.
