Realme X, Realme X Lite & Realme X Pro Rumored to Launch in China
Realme recently posted a new promo video showcasing its upcoming flagship smartphone. The device was already posted on TENAA with the model number RMX1901. The recent leaks suggested the RMX1901 to be launched as Realme X smartphone. Even the upcoming flagship Redmi smartphone will be officially launched as Redmi X. Today, the new leak revealed the key specifications and pricing of the device.
In China, the company will reportedly launch three smartphones – Realme X, Realme X Lite, and Realme X Pro. The Realme X Lite will be the same Realme 3 Pro which was recently launched in India. While we expected Realme X to come powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC, it might actually sport the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC. Both the Realme X and Realme X Lite will be launched in the month of May in China.
The Realme X Pro powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset will be launched later this year. Talking about the Realme X, it will come with a notch-less display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. As expected, the device comes with a 6th-gen in-display fingerprint scanner on the front. On the rear, the Realme X will offer 48MP + 5MP dual camera setup. It should be using the Sony IMX586 sensor instead of the Samsung GM1 sensor.
Just like the Realme 3 Pro, the Realme X will also support 20W VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology. The base variant of the Realme X with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage will cost just CNY 1599 (approx USD 238 / INR 16,500). It will also come in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB storage variants and will be priced at CNY 1799 (approx USD 268 / INR 18,500) and CNY 1999 (approx USD 298 / INR 20,500) respectively.
On the other hand, the Snapdragon 855-powered Realme X Pro will be retailing from CNY 2299 (approx USD 340 / INR 23,500). As of now, there is not much information available about the Realme X Pro smartphone. Since the details come from an unknown source, take these details with a pinch of salt. The company will soon announce the official date for its debut in its home country. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
